I believe in decentralized, individualized, and depoliticized education—prioritizing parental/family choice (i.e. homeschooling), and real skill-building over conformity. I reject a broken, union-influenced, and ideologically captured public system that harms more than it helps. Reform is needed in many areas.
However, I do believe our local school district has resisted these most of these negative trends and is holding ground. We need to support them.
