My Oath to You

I, Mickie Davis, as County Commissioner of Jackson County, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that, if elected, I will faithfully execute the duties of my office to the best of my ability. I pledge to uphold the Constitution of the United States and the laws of this great nation and the State of Tennessee, always placing the interests of America, Tennessee, and Jackson County first.

I commit to promoting and defending individual freedoms, including but not limited to the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; freedom of speech, religion, and assembly; the right to bear arms; and protection from unwarranted government intrusion. In all decisions, policies, and actions, I will prioritize the sovereignty of Americans, Tennesseans, and citizens of this county, support our prosperity, secure our borders, and foster self-reliance.

I vow to resist any encroachments on personal liberties, whether from overreaching regulations, bureaucratic overreach, or external influences that undermine our nation, state, and county’s strength. By this oath, I dedicate myself to serving the people of Jackson County with integrity, courage, and an unwavering commitment to America First principles.
