If your purchase was made using a credit card, that card will be issued a refund which will appear on your credit card statement. Purchases made by check or money order will be issued a refund check sent under separate cover. Clearance items may not be refunded or exchanged. Chargebacks Any charges made to a customer's credit card that are later "charged back" and then determined to be a legitimate charge will be billed a $25.00 inconvenience fee. This fee is to cover the fee charged to us by the credit card companies for every chargeback and the manpower needed to collect all the data and fill out the paperwork to prove the charge was legitimate. Chargebacks are immediately taken out of our company's checking account until "proven" legitimate. Lost or Damaged Shipments Please inspect all merchandise while the driver is still present, making note of number of boxes delivered as well as any visible damage or discrepancies. If there is more than one box, please verify that the number of boxes matches the number of boxes on the carrier's manifest. If you observe damage beyond use or repair, refuse the delivery and note the reason as 'Refused Due to Damage' (ask the driver to sign the Bill of Lading as 'Damaged'). If the damage is not noted at the time of the delivery but noticed later, you have seven (7) days to report the problem to us (includes Saturdays and Sundays). Call us at 1-866-968-4453 to report the problem and arrange for a replacement order. Please keep all damaged containers and merchandise for inspection by the carrier's agent until advised to do otherwise by a representative of Dale Hollow Outdoors or the carrier. We will file all necessary claims with the carrier. International Orders Duties, taxes and customs are the responsibility of the consumer and must be paid upon receipt of the shipment. These rules vary by country, and your local government determines duty and customs charges. All international orders must be paid for by credit card or direct bank transfer. Sales Tax Sales Tax is added only to orders delivered within Tennessee. The state of Tennessee requires that we charge sales tax on the full amount of the order including shipping charges. When applicable, sales tax information will be displayed in your shopping cart along with other pricing information that pertains to your order.
